What To Do If Windows 11 Won’t Wake Up From Sleep.
I have a dell desktop running windows 10, all patches and updates are applied both from Microsoft and Dell. The computer goes to sleep after 30 minutes, and at least twice a day, when I wake it up the keyboard doesn’t work, and I get a pop up message that a usb device connected to the computer has failed.
The only way out is to shut the computer off, start it back up, then after its back up unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. Then it works again. Until next time. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help.

Hi Bill Try this:1 go to devise manager and select expand the keyboard option by clicking on it 2 right click and on the drop down menu select properties 3 go to Power Management Tab and enable the Allow this device to wake the PC Please let me know how it goes. Carlo TJ Independent Advisor. I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out. Here’s the steps you can try. Once done proceed with these steps. Restart your computer and check if the Keyboard and Touchpad works.
If issue persist, let’s download the updated driver. What is the exact model of your computer?
