How Invisalign Works

  • Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.
  • The aligners are made through a combination of expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
  • Prior to accepting the treatment, you can see what your teeth are going to look, and how long it’s going to take you to get there, even before you accept the treatment.
  • You wear each set of aligners for about one-two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
  • As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed.
  • Total treatment time averages 9 – 15 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

  • Keep eating all your favorite foods.
  • You'll experience fewer emergency visits, without the hassle of brackets and wires breaking.
  • Stay active in all the sports and activities you love.
  • Your Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible, so people may not even notice you’re wearing them.
